After the Big Reveal Party on July 19th the 20×24 canvas wrap portraits were mounted on the York Studio display wall. Come see it, we are very proud of all the kids.

This is our favorite restaurant at the beach. We look forward to going there everytime we go to the outer banks. They prepare seafood in the traditional style that is custom to the outer banks. This is the place where all the locals come to eat. We love to get soft shell crab sandwiches, fried shrimp, oysters, and scallops. Another all time favorite is she crab soup. The wait is never too long and you can enjoy spending time with your family out on the screened in porch while you wait. Even our kids love to come here. We have brought many of our friends here. Its always a good time and you never leave hungry. Save room for their homemade desserts or get it to go.

Senior Safari Big Reveal - Holly Hill Mall - York’s Studio We are excited about the upcoming Big Reveal of the Senior Safari Session. Aubrey, Andi, Christian, Megan, Lindsi, Selen, Kelsey, Paige, Lauren and Autumn are our Senior Models for 2012. We started the day at ISalon for pampering of hair and makeup. We all packed everything in the van and headed out for our Senior Safari adventure. It was a Secret. JeffX TV was there to cover the highlights of the day. We arrived at our first stop in Raleigh, North Carolina at the J. C. Raulston Arboretum by NC State University. We had lots of wonderful garden areas for the shoot. The our next stop was downtown Raleigh. What a great place for Urban scenes. The girls were a Blast!! We all had a great time and of course lots of awesome images. So come out to the Senior Safari Big Reveal on Tuesday, July 19th, 2012 at 6:00pm at Holly Hill Mall in Burlington, North Carolina to see our adventure. See you there!!

New Painting for the University of Chapel Hill cancer Center
Posted: June 24, 2010 in Current happeningsDelivered a painting Karen did for the University of Chapel Hill Hospital. The new Cancer Center has been completed and staffed. Dr. Tepper’s painting was commissioned in recognition of his dedication and service to the Cancer Center by the University Health System. I’m very proud of her, she has such a wonderful artistic talent and creates such beautiful work.
We continue to make improvements, both inside the studio as well as outside. Our latest is the installation of the new lighting rail system. I have waited a long time for a system like this and I look forward to its ease of use and it’s added safety in the camera room. The professional lighting system makes it possible to move lights from one end of the MAIN camera room to the other so we can cover all of the shooting areas available. Now cords and stands are no longer on the floor.
